My Top Galaxy Note 2 Apps
As you know I have been using the Galaxy Note 2 from Verizon for a few months now and…. I still love this phone.
Today I want to share 5 of my top Samsung Galaxy Note 2 apps with you.
Some of the apps are specifically made for the Note 2 and some just work so good on the Note that I use them all the time.
If you have a Galaxy Note 2 or plan to get one soon, then take a look at these apps which will help you get things done, have some fun and be safer with your phone.
Oh yea, and they are all FREE.
My 5 Top Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Apps
This is a great app if you like to write reminder notes, you can write a note and speak and record at the same time. When I take quick notes, sometimes when I go back to read them I forget exactly what I was trying to say. With this app, that won’t happen since every written note has audio recorded with it. Awesome app!
“Smart Galaxy Note S-PEN can now write voice and replay smartly! So you can just write notes and background voice will be automatically recorded. One tap on a certain place on your note, and you can listen to the voice recorded from that place and also see that image following your handwriting like a video.”
When I was a kid I used to be able to draw pretty much anything, (I had a lot of practice sitting in boring classes haha) I learned how to draw mainly by tracing things a few times, once I did that, I could free hand it and have it look perfect. This app does the same thing, but it’s more fun.
“Sketch ’em is a drawing tutorial that’s a great place to start. Learn sketching using a constructive step by step approach. Beginning with basic human anatomy, work your way up to drawing in perspective. With advice from professional artists and a fun and challenging scoring system, Sketch ‘Em encourages you to master your technique.”
SIGNificant Signature Capture
I have used this app a few times to sign client contracts and it just works. If you are a freelancer or have a job where you need to digitally sign docs, then use this app.
“Natural signing experience like pen on paper — While signing on the screen the signature is displayed without delay and accurately like signing with a pen on paper. The app fully supports Android-powered tablets which are equipped with an active stylus pen.”
Life360 Family Locator
Ok, this app can cross the privacy line, but if used responsibly, it is a great tool to track your kids in an emergency, or a business owner that has drivers and you want to make sure they are not over driving and wasting you gas and time.
“Family Locator by Life360 is the most accurate and powerful family locator service. Using the latest GPS tracking technology.”
This has become my favorite of my list of top samsung galaxy note 2 apps because I use it all the time. I also use Pixlr Editor on my computer all the time, for screen grabs and editing images. I now have the same editing features on the go. If you don’t use Pixlr or know what it is, it’s a photo editing tool that is very similar to Photoshop, good alternative for people that don’t want to pay $10,000 for Photoshop
“Pixlr Express is a fun and free photo editor that lets you quickly crop, re-size, and fix any picture, remove red-eye, and whiten teeth. Then choose from more than 600 effects, overlays, and borders to personalize any image—all for free.”
Lookout Security and Antivirus
I have used Lookout for over 4 years on my last 3 smart phones and the app is just awesome. It will scan every download you make, every image and it will even track your cell if you lose it. Best part, is it does it all automatically in the background.
“Lookout offers essential protection against all the bad stuff that can happen to your phone or tablet, like malware & viruses, loss, and theft.”
As far as Lookout goes, I don’t care what type of smart phone you have, GET THIS APP!
With everything and everyone going to the mobile platform, it won’t be long before mobile security will be just as big an issue is on your computer.
