The PUSH Effect To Becoming More Successful At Anything You Do

Start Becoming Successful Today
Before I explain what the “PUSH Effect” is, let me share a story.
As you know I went thru health issues over 10 years ago. I needed a new Kidney and had gone thru dialysis for a few years before I received my kidney.
At the time I was a young guy in my prime, enjoying the ladies, fast cars and partying.
But all that had to stop, I had to put my health first “wasn’t easy to do” but I did it.
How did I go from being a party animal to a normal laid back semi health cautious guy and still maintain sanity and be happy?
I learned to hold onto and enjoy the little things in life.
I had to, it’s all I had then.
For me it could of been something as small as…
a good football game on.
spending time with my nephew
a good meal.
hanging out with a friend.
spending time with my girlfriend.
getting in my car and bumping up my 4,000 watt stereo and going for a drive. (ok, in hindsight the 4,000 watt system may have been a little over load…lol)
There are 100 more small things that I enjoyed.
These things are what helped me move forward, these things are what kept me sane and happy.
These were my PUSHES!
“A PUSH is anything positive in your life that will “PUSH” you forward and keep you happy and productive.”
These PUSHES will help you start becoming more successful, right away!
Bloggers Listen Up
I shared this picture on Facebook yesterday…

Truth and Power in that quote.
I have told and will continue to tell newbie bloggers to NOT chase the money, because the harder you chase it, the longer it will be before you catch it.
As a blogger you need to blog about something you care about or enjoy.
Because when the money doesn’t come as fast as you would like, doing something you enjoy will keep you moving forward with or without the money.
This will also help you use the PUSH Effect!
Your PUSH can be anything, and everyone’s PUSH will be different.
But your PUSH can be as simple as…
a tweet from a bigger blogger then you.
a positive reader comment.
a positive testimonial.
a guest blogging opp on a big blog
Whatever it is, enjoy it, be proud of it and use it to move you forward.
Remember this: “Nothing BIG will happen in your life, until you build off of the many SMALL things”
So what is your goal you ask?
To get as many small PUSHES as you can daily, the more PUSH you get daily the easier it will be to get things done for your blog.
As a blogger you have those days that you just hit a wall, you don’t want to write a blog post, or you just are not seeing the results you would like.
You will see how fast that slump ends when you get a few new PUSHES that day.
For me, there have been MANY days in the past 2 years where I just didn’t want to write another blog post, I was tired, lazy, jaded, bored, uninspired.
Then I get online the next day and get a PUSH from a reader saying…
“JP thanks so much for the info you share on your blog, it has helped me so much.”
Don’t know about you, but that PUSH moved me to write 3 blog posts that DAY!
….. and chances are it would of moved you to do the same.
Apply PUSH Effect In Your Daily Life
The PUSH Effect can be applied to all parts of your life. No matter what you do or want to do, you can learn to enjoy and build of the small PUSHES you get.
Are you a parent? Having a bad day?
How would your day change if your son or daughter gave you a “I love you mom/dad PUSH”?
It would get A LOT better right?
Have a job? Hating your job today?
How would your day change if you got a “Your doing a great job on that project PUSH” from your boss?
It would most likely get better and get you more motivated to finish that project faster and better.
Have a boyfriend/husband? Feeling fat today?
How you feel if you man came home and gave you a “Your ass looks amazing in those jeans PUSH?
Chances are you will be feeling pretty damn good and your man’s night just got A LOT better…lol
When you grow your blog or you live your life for the right reasons then you will see value in the little wins “PUSHES” and use them to stay motivated, stay productive and stay positive.
