MeetAdvisors Review – Help For Entrepreneurs

Help For Entrepreneurs A Meet Advisors Review

As a beginner Entrepreneur one of the biggest hurdles is learning how to do everything. From marketing, to customer support, to employee management, to tax and legal issues and more.

Knowing we as entrepreneurs may not have all the answers, having a place we can go for help whenever a question or issue comes up in your business is a HUGE resource. meetadvisors-review

Problem is, most entrepreneur resources that offer help will cost you money, that’s a problem for entrepreneurs starting out since money is usually tight.

A great place you can go that offers that help and cost you ZERO is MeetAdvisors.com.

MeetAdvisors works in 2 ways…

You can sign up Free as an entrepreneur and get help.
You can sign up as an Advisor and offer help to entrepreneurs.

I like that they keep things simple…

You offer help or you ask for help.
If you like the help you get you leave a review.
If you REALLY liked the help you got, you then take that relationship off site for more detailed one-one-one help from your advisor.

Nice and simple :)

Get Help For Entrepreneurs

Once you join MeetAdvisors as an entrepreneur, you then go in and choose what you need help with and then choose the registered and confirmed advisor in that category that you want to ask a question.

All Advisors are rated so you can select the advisors with the highest satisfaction score.

You can also look thru each advisors profile page first to learn more about who they are and their experience and also look thru the reviews other entrepreneurs left to see if this is the advisor you want to get help from.

Once you find the advisor you want to work with, you simple message them your question.

The advisor then replies to your question and you continue from there. If the reply was helpful then you’re done, you can then leave a positive review for that advisor.

If the help you need is more complex than a simple Q and A can handle, then you agree to take it off site to continue getting the help you needed.

MeetAdvisors has no limits on how many questions you can ask,  so you are able to visit back as often as you need making this a HUGE resource for entrepreneurs like you and me. :)

Offer Help As An Advisor

If you have some expertise in a specific area that is helpful to an entrepreneur, then you can join Free as an Advisor.

But know there are no fake gurus on here, if you apply you will have to first be researched and approved.

As MeetAdvisors says it…

“After confirmation of their business savvy seen on LinkedIn and other social media sites, professionals are deemed worthy of the advisor title. Once on board, entrepreneurs may request their advice.”

The process works the same as above but in reverse.

You answer questions that come to you in as detailed and helpful way as you can. If the entrepreneur needs more detailed help, you can talk the discussion offline that may or may not lead to a new client for you.

When that entrepreneur is happy with your help, they may leave a review. The more reviews you receive the higher you will rank in your category and the more entrepreneurs will come to you for help.

2 BIG Reasons I Like MeetAdvisors

1. As an advisor once you have helped a few entrepreneurs and have received some reviews you can then use your MeetAdvisors profile and reviews as proof to what you know and how helpful you have been.

This can be a big referral tool giving you credibility in your own business.

2. Probably  the BEST thing I like about MeetAdvisors is they don’t try to control the relationship between the Advisor and Entrepreneur.

Once you get answer to your question, if you feel you need more help, then you can take that new relationship off site to a phone call, or meeting or whatever. If that develops into a new client for the advisor then that is great.

They support and encourage the relationship to move off the site to where ever that new relationship will lead..

MeetAdvisors is happy to be a place that brings people together to give and get help, after that, they move back.

Wrap Up

There really isn’t much left to say.

It’s a simple  system and idea that has large rewards for advisors and entrepreneurs.

As an entrepreneur this is a place I would visit often and get the help and support you will need as your business begins and grows.

I know as an Advisor on the site, I will be their offering my help to up and coming entrepreneurs as long as they will have me haha

Full Disclosure: MeetAdvisors paid me to write a review for their service. But before I said yes, I told them I would need to use the service for a few week before I made a decision on writing the review. This review came from me personally using the site and seeing how well it works.  If they sucked, this review would not of happened, money or not.

This is quite an interesting concept! It’s a great way to expand your reach and increase your credibility. I’m not sure I’ll use it though as I already have quite a bit going on with my email subscribers and not much extra time to spend on this.

Still I appreciate the review and heads up!

John Paul, this is a very clever idea. Most of us who are Entrepreneurs, I work from home as a Nutrition Distributor, as we are learning new methods of business in social networking instead of “brick & mortar”, we often need to ask questions, but have limited extra money initially. So many experts available but no way of knowing if their services are affordable.

Gabe, it’s a great resource for entrepreneurs that need help and are on a tight budget.

Kay, this is what MeetAdvisors works so well. The experts are first qualified and the help is free and you can ask as many questions to as many advisors as you like.

Makes it a must use for beginner entrepreneurs trying to learn it all themselves :)
