How To Advertise Your Business On Pinterest

If you have a small business or even are a blogger that has a product for sale, then you should be on Pinterest.

This is especially true if you have a product that fits woman, since over 80% of Pinterest users are woman.

Example: My friend Doryan is a Rhode Island and Mass Photographer and she has been using Pinterest successful for 7 months to attract more clients then she ever has before.

Business that do very well are the ones about home decoration, cooking, wedding, crafts to name few.

Don’t worry if you don’t have a business targeted to those topics, Pinterest is still a traffic driving machine if you put in the time to work it correctly.

Cherry On Top Bonuses

Powerful backlinks coming to your blog.

Pinterest boards done well get ranked VERY high in Google.

What Can You Pin?

images of products you are making, so they see the full process

I think you get the idea haha

Just be creative with what your sharing and you will do fine.

Now that you know what to share, you need to know who your target audience is, that way you can learn how to advertise on Pinterest correctly.

Very true. Since finally finding my passion and place online in the mom blogging community, my followers and repins keep rising. DIY and storage ideas are very hot right now.

    John Paul,
Pinterest certainly has value as a marketing platform. Thanks for the post and infographic which will hopefully help business owners choose whether the channel is right for them and thanks, as always, for sharing with the BizSugar community.

I agree Heather it’s a great platform, but more of a benefit to a smaller group. But if you fit into that group, you can do very well with it.

Thanks so much you always make it simple. However, I have one question and you might laugh, we are in the service industry, education/training can I copy and paste an image from somewhere else (I know the answer is no), how would I get images of someone training in the workplace? any ideas? thanks again…

Therese, you can take the images yourself with a camera or cell phone, and upload right to Pinterest. Or any image that YOU own that is on your comp you can upload to Pinterest.

Make sure the images are yours.
