<p>I just wanted to make a quick post to first say Happy Holidays to everyone, and Thank You to all my readers and Twitter followers and my twitter RT Faithfull’s.

Without any of you, none of my success on Twitter and on this blog would be possible. 

With your support I have taken this blog to Alexa score of about 400,000 down from about 2.4 million in less then 7 weeks, not bad for a “amateur” blogger

I plan to continue my learning so that I can share EVERYTHING with you so to better OUR businesses and blog’s.

Blogger or Online Business Owner?

Today I want to talk about whether I am a Blogger or a Internet Marketer.

As I see it, I am a little bit of everything and SO SHOULD YOU!

Yes I am a Blogger sharing tips, how to’s and info relating to EVERYTHING to do with blogging, social marketing, Internet marketing, email marketing…you get the idea.

Now does the fact that I promote and help people join and succeed in my programs make me a BAD blogger?

Does it mean I am any less helpful or supportive of anyone that comes to my blog looking for JUST some information?

The Answer Is…HELL NO!

I am here to share information with anyone that wants that information… 2 days ago I spent 50 min on the phone with a guy that reached out to me on Twitter.. He had some questions about his blog and how I could help.

Did he pay me for my time?  NO

Did I push my programs on him?  NO

Did I ask for anything in return?  NO

I helped him because he asked, and because I didn’t really have anyone to go to when I got started so I know how hard it can be to just get some simple answers from a HUMAN 

Being a blogger helps my online businesses and makes me a better blogger!

I am here to help people make money online, whether that be working with me one on one in my programs OR that be by you getting helpful FREE information on my blog!

Hell when your in the Internet Marketing arena helping people make money online, you wear many hats…

Blogger – I share information on how to make money online with Everyone  that visits my site, and a central place to keep my team members locked in and learning and growing.

Online Business Owner -  I’m here to help people make money online the best, safest, fastest, honest way I know how.

Motivator – Sometimes people don’t see what you see, so you need to keep them focused on the big picture.

Friend – When you work close to people and get to know their WHY and their Needs as to why they need extra money, you become their friend, sometimes that’s all they need to go the distance.

Enemy – Yes sometimes you have to be the bad guy and tell people what they don’t want to hear..like when Joe Blow tells me I lied to him and he’s making no money.. and I find out it’s because he either isn’t following my advice or he is spending less then 2 hrs a week on HIS business..lol

So you need to remove all BS and be straight with them, they either wimp out and quit or they finally Get It and get to work and Thank U in the end.

As a blogger you need to think more about marketing, to make money as a blogger, you need to do more then JUST write great content.

Twitter is a social networking and micro-blogging service that allows you answer the question, “What are you doing?” by sending short text messages 140 characters in length called “tweets” to your friends or “followers.”

Twittering is a simple method of communication: you can share information with people that you wouldn’t normally exchange email or IM messages with,opening up your circle of contacts to an ever-growing community of like-minded people.

You can send your messages using the Twitter website directly, as a single SMS alert, or via a third-party application such as www.Tweetdeck.com or Power Twitter a Firefox add-On, this is what I use, I love it.

It let’s you do searches, add – remove followers all on one page, cut your links or add videos right from twitter.

Your tweets are displayed on your profile page on the home page of each of your followers, and in the Twitter public timeline (unless you disable this in your account settings.)

Why Twitter is Useful

Twitter has many uses for both personal and business use. It’s a great way to keep in touch with your friends and quickly broadcast information about where you are and what you’re up to. For example, “I’m downtown and aching for some pizza. Anyone like to join me?”

For business, Twitter can be used to broadcast your company’s latest news and blog posts, interact with your customers or to enable easy internal collaboration and group communication.

That’s a quick description of what Twitter is and Why YOU NEED to be on Twitter to promote you and your business.
