The Happy Bloggers Christmas List

There is something about Christmas that just makes you want to share and give freely to the good people around you. Would be nice if it was like that all the time, but reality hits and you get busy and blah blah… right?

But Christmas is when you make that little extra effort, to help out or give back. happy-bloggers

It’s that same reason you have watched the Christmas Story 100 times lol, “it’s ok, so have I”…can you say “Pink Bunny PJ’S”? :)

I’m surrounded by happy bloggers everywhere that are giving back.

This is a guest post by Randy Clark is the Director of Communications at TKO Graphix, where he manages the social media and blogs for TKO Graphix Brandwire.  He is an avid flower gardener, real simple video guy, and he fronts the Under the Radar rock & roll band http://bit.ly/9mJ59m

I recently had a guest blogging experience, which didn’t meet my expectations. I’m not going to rant. No one wants to hear a rant. I did not title this post, “how not to treat guest bloggers”. So I’m going to share. guest bloggers

I’ve been on both sides of this story, and I’ve made mistakes with both, which I believe makes me highly qualified, LOL.

This is a guest post by Matt Smith, owner of OnlineIncomeTeacher.com. Matt runs a blog from the UK about starting a website and making money from it.

Why Should I Use Images In My Posts?

Images are the best way to make your posts more attractive and interesting for your visitors.  This is very important because people have short attention spans!  Most people never read an entire blog post, they look for the key information.

Breaking your posts up into short segments with images to illustrate what you are talking about, helps to maintain reader interest.

Blogging Hamster Wheel Syndrome

About 6 months ago I was working a traffic resource that no one was using to drive traffic to their blogs. I worked this resource for 10 months and just recently let it go.

Now, I am a persistent guy and will work and idea or project hard till I see results, but the evil flip side is I didn’t know when to cut my losses and run.

Have you ever worked something with your blog that you thought was the best idea, but havn’t seen any real results in weeks, months or even years?  Yet you still worked the idea?

That my friend is the Blogging Hamster Wheel! blogging wheel

The poor hamster, what a life he has. He eats, shits and walks on that wheel all day thinking he is roaming the country side. Tomorrow he gets up anddddd yes he hits the wheel for a few more hours of wasted walking to nowhere.

This is a guest post by my friend Hesham Zebida, owner of FamousBloggers.net. Hesham runs a popular multi author blog. Find him on Twitter @FamousBloggers

Hesham runs a Thesis site ThesisAwesome.com and very popular multi author blog and we have had a couple chats on the good and bad of blogging this way. So I thought this would be a great post for bloggers to see what it REALLY takes to run a multi author blog.

It’s a LONG post – But if you ever wanted to run a multi author blog, then you need to read every word!

I was getting ready to fly from Houston to San Francisco, when I got a Twitter DM from mymulti author buddy John asking if I can guest post on his blog. I know that I have a very tight schedule and I shouldn’t make any commitments, but what to do? I like the topic he suggested a lot, and it should be easy for me to write, this means I can’t say no!

Guest Bloggers Wanted

This post isn’t something I thought I would be writing any time soon, but life is a crazy game and you have to play it with what your given and when.

Because of family issue I’m going thru, and time visiting the hospital I am not in the right mindset to be writing blog posts.

So I will be taking a couple weeks away from my blog.

But to keep the learning/sharing rolling, I will be accepting guest bloggers to contribute for guest bloggersthe about 2 weeks. If you have followed my blog long enough then you know I don’t do guest bloggers.

This is a nice opportunity for you.
